Mitch builds on the themes from the 2022 release Margo, which followed a girl dealing with the grief of her friend moving away. This time, the focus shifts to that friend, Mitch, who has just arrived on a new planet, (earth!), and is trying to find her footing there.
Both games are inspired by the developer's experience of her brother moving across the country and the emotions that came with it. They explore the push and pull between small town isolation and the freedom of starting fresh somewhere new. At their core, they are about connection, purpose, and where you belong.
Mitch leans more into growth and grounding as she reconnects with the world around her and settles into this new space. Like Margo, it is a personal, story-driven game with hand-drawn visuals and an original soundtrack that feels quiet, reflective, and meant to stick with you.
If Mitch looks like your kind of game, wishlisting it on Steam is a really simple way to support us and help the game reach more people.
