About the game

This new game builds on the themes explored in my 2022 release Margo, which followed a girl processing her grief over her friend’s impending move. Now, the spotlight shifts to this friend, Mitch, who has just landed on a new planet, her ancestral home, and is navigating the challenges of rerooting herself.

Both games were inspired by my own experiences with my brother’s move across Canada and the emotions tied to it. They explore the tension between mid-continent prairie isolation and the freedom of newness and independence. At their core, both stories reflect on connection, purpose, and belonging.

This sequel focuses on personal growth and groundedness, as Mitch reconnects with the earth and finds her footing in this strange yet meaningful new space. It’s a continuation of my journey to translate personal experiences into heartfelt games that resonate with players. With hand-drawn visuals and an original soundtrack, “Mitch” offers a comforting and introspective adventure.
